My experience in Nainital

I am form uttarakhand. I visit Nainital multiple times .Nainital is a charming hill  station ‘🚏 located at the foothills of the kumaun ranges in Uttarakhand. Nainital is also known as LAKE TOWN or THE LAKE CITY.

The word Nainital established from NAINA DEVI TEMPLE. Nainital = Nain (eyes 👀) + Tal (lake) which simply means the lake of eye. Eyes of Goddess sati. My first to Nainital was also memorable , i went to nainital by road at night via Ramnagar , we reached there in morning . The first view of Nainital is mindblowing , i was amazed . before that i have never seen that kind of place in my life . We went to Naina devi mandir which is a very spritual place . A postive vibe with beautiful view .  After  that we were onthe tour of beautiful town .

Naina Peak, also known as the China Peak and Cheena Peak is the highest hilltop and one of the most visited tourist tops in Nainital. I went there and it was a blissfull moment for me . I Went there so many times with my friends .  Travelers love to go here to trek as it has a high altitude and lush green forests. The peak offers a magnificent bird’s eye view of Nainital, if you are someone who likes to walk, you will enjoy this a lot.  Also there is a telescope from where you can see the bird eye view of Nainital and its lake . But it is possible only when sky is clear . In monsoon and winter its not possible to have a view of Nainital.

On the way to Kainchi Dham

location between Kainchi dham and bhowali . At this place we took the taste of pahadi maggi and it was so yummy 😋 😋

The journey from Haldwani to Kainchi Dham covers approximately 62 km via NH 109. The route is winding and scenic, typically taking around 2 to 2.5 hours to complete. To avoid heavy traffic, it is advisable to start your journey early in the morning. We left Dehradun at night and reached Haldwani in morning at around 5 am from there we went to nainital  .  If you intend to travel to Kainchi Dham by bus, it will cost you far less than a cab or other mode of transportation. Since there is no direct bus from Nainital to Kainchi Dham, you must first take a bus to Bhowali, which is 9 km away, and then a bus to Kainchi Dham from Bhowali. There are so many scenic beauty through out the journey .

Kainchi Dham ( Baba Neem karoli)

Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Neeb Karori Baba or Maharaj-ji, was a Hindu guru and spiritual master who lived in India from 1900 to 1973. He was widely regarded as a saint and a miracle worker, and many people have reported experiencing profound spiritual awakenings and healings in his presence.

One such story involves a man named Ram Dass, a Harvard professor, and researcher in psychology in the 1960s. Ram Dass, whose name was Richard Alpert, had become disillusioned with Western science’s limitations and begun to explore Eastern spirituality and mysticism.

In 1967, Ram Dass traveled to India to meet Neem Karoli Baba, whom he had heard about through a friend. When he arrived at the ashram where Neem Karoli Baba was staying, he found the guru sitting on a bed surrounded by a group of devotees.

As Ram Dass approached him, Neem Karoli Baba looked at him and said, “You have been thinking about the health of your mother.” Ram Dass was stunned, as he had indeed been worrying about his mother’s health back in the United States.

Neem Karoli Baba then gave Ram Dass a small, green fruit and instructed him to eat it. Ram Dass was hesitant, as he had never seen this type of fruit before, but he trusted the guru and ate it.

Within moments, Ram Dass felt an intense rush of energy and a deep sense of peace and clarity. He later described the experience as a profound spiritual awakening, and it marked the beginning of his lifelong journey as a spiritual seeker and teacher.

As for the fruit itself, Ram Dass later learned that it was a type of Indian gooseberry called an amla, which is known for its potent health benefits and antioxidant properties. It is said that Neem Karoli Baba had the ability to infuse objects with spiritual energy and that the amla fruit was imbued with his healing power.

Ram Dass went on to become a renowned spiritual teacher and author, and he credited Neem Karoli Baba with igniting his spiritual journey and transforming his life. The story of the magical power of Neem Karoli Baba continues to inspire and mystify people around the world, and his teachings and presence continue to have a profound impact on those who seek spiritual enlightenment.

My spritual experience

Being a Sanatani , I have been a devotee of Lord hanuman . I always love to pray the God . I love to visit many temples . Dont know how but i have attracted to Babaji , the day i saw his picture on mobile . I made my mind that i want to visit babaji’s ashram . And recently my dream come true when i visted there . The vibe and energy is so positive . Yes there was a lot of crowd there but we managed to see babaji’s statue . For me its not a statue , I can see that energy in his eyes . i was mesmerised . Then I sat on the floor and chant Hanuman chalisa . It was a blissful moment . The place has also temple of other gods like  durga mata mandir  , Lakshmi narayan mandir , shiv shakti mandir .

The picture of Babaji i have bought from Kainchi dham trust
